• August 27, 1995 after a 17 year joint investigation conducted by Illinois Department of Corrections, FBI, and the ATF, a indictment was handed down for extortion, conspiracy, money laundering, and running a continuing criminal enterprise. He received another life sentence in 1997.

• He is currently serving 6 life sentences at Florence Colorado ADX Max

• In 2022 Hoover publicly stated that “He no longer affiliates himself with the Gangster Disciples, he also states he is no longer the Larry Hoover people talk about, who is written in the papers, or the crime figure described by the government.
